The Old Granery
At school Morgan was learning about the pioneers and students were able to bring any artifacts they might have from their pioneer ancestors. We had a blast and thanks to Aunt Maree for getting us into the Ellis Granery where we could find a few things for her to take. Morgan felt pretty cool at school and was able to talk about her ancestors from my moms side of the family.
Green from head to toe and inside out!

Taylor in a Dress Up
I am happy to say that while babysitting my neice, Taylor I am enjoying introducing her to the "Dress up" stage. Although it may seem a little early, she is so tall that she fits into the dress ups my girls wore when they were two and three. She didn't want to take it off and ended up wearing it home.....
Michelle in Karate
Michelle and her friend Tiffany have started Karate and already have progressed and earned their orange belts. She is loving it. She goes at least 4 times a week and practices and has really improved. This picture is of her when they were breaking boards with their hands and feet. We went and watched her do it. It was just like the movies and she was incredible. She didn't even hesitate and chopped the peices of wood like they were nothing. Her dad has a video of it and I'm trying to get that downloaded for my blog. Hopefully I can figure that out. For now, I'll just add my pictures.

Valentines Day Tradition
Every Valentines Day our family has a tradition which includes a candlelight dinner. We have special plates and try to decorate the table as fancy as we can. For the last couple of years Tim has given me beautiful flowers which we have used as a center piece. This year the girls wanted Ribs so it didn't stay too clean. Everyone ate too much but is was fun.

Morgan was a Baby for Halloween and Madison was a Southern Bell.
The funny thing about Madison's costume is that it was my prom dress from 1987!
No...I wasn't that size in high school. We tied, pinned and duct taped and made it fit.
She had fun in it and now it is officially a halloween costume. I can't decide how I feel about that...its either really funny or really sad...
These next pictures are when we carved pumpkins. My mom, my sister Jill and her husband Tyson and little Taylor came over to carve with us. It is a tradition that we all get together and my kids look forward to it. If you are wondering where Michelle is, she carved her pumpkin with her friend this year. She really is a "teen" now and makes her own choices. We did miss her though.
It's November 1st and I figure if I update my blog quarterly I'm doing great!!! I am trying to gain more info on how to blog better from the internet so my blog can be a little bit better than the bottom. Who knows if that will ever happen. It just doesn't come easy to me and I do have short term memory loss (self diagnosed) so I have to re-learn each time I log on!!! (it really feels like that.)
I have been trying to take more pictures so I have something to blog about and I have a few now. These first one is of Morgan and Madison and their friend Jaden when it was wacky hat day at school. The three of them look pretty cute if you ask me!
